At Prodigy 17 Dance Company, our mission is to cultivate versatile, forward-thinking artists through innovative choreography, personalized instruction, and professional mentorship. Our choreography is original and purposefully different — it’s what draws many to our program and sets us apart! With a foundation of 15 years of national award-winning excellence, we train dancers through each stage in their dance journey, to develop the confidence, discipline, and versatility needed to succeed — whether it be drill teams, pursuing college dance programs, professional careers, or any path they choose.

Introducing: Prodigy Core
Where versatility meets freedom.
Designed for ages 7–13, Prodigy Core blends foundational styles into powerful, flexible class blocks. Perfect for dancers who want progress without sacrificing their family’s schedule. These intermediate level classes are great for those dancers wanting a challenge to define technique and not compete.

PRODIGY PREP
CLASS
BEGINNER
(AGES 5-7)
Designed for dancers ready to take the next step, this class focuses on building the technical foundation needed to advance into the Prodigy 17 Company. Offered twice a week, it’s all about sharpening skills, refining movement, and preparing for what’s next.

COMPANY TECHNIQUE CLASS
ADVANCED
(ages 7+)
Join us for high-level Advanced Ballet & Technique classes, held three times per week. These 1-2-hour sessions are required for company dancers but also open to the public as separate drop-in classes. Each class blends classical ballet, multi-genre technique, and conditioning/stretching to build strength, flexibility, and refined movement quality.

ALL STAR PREP
Our All Star Prep class is a focused training program designed for dancers aspiring to join college dance teams and pom squads. This technique-driven class helps dancers build the skills, versatility, and performance quality needed to stand out in highly competitive collegiate auditions.

2025 Grand National Senior Champions
Our JDF/Prodigy 17 Company attended the Revolution Galveston National Competition. It was an outstanding end to a fantastic year! We are so proud of the success of our dancers and can't wait until next season.
This past season were thrilled to have been a part of Friendswood Holiday in the Park and Parade, Boofest at the Houston Children's Museum, Friendswood Halloween in the Park, and Cline Elementary Clinefest! Don't forget the studio fun too: Think Pink Week and our 1st Annual Haunted House Event! The dancers put on outstanding performances.
